Before entered to pageant Urvashi Rautela is a, Bharathanatyam dancer, national team basketball player, and she's a model and was appeared in Television and other print media ads including Lakmé Cosmetics, Ozel Lifestyle, Bhima Gold, LG and Levi's, then in 2011 she won the Indian Princess pageant and hold the title of Miss Asian Supermodel. She later competed for and won the Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International title in China. Unvashi Rautela won I Am She Pageant 2012 and was crowned by Miss Asia Pacific World 2012, Himangini Singh Yadu on September 21, 2012, She's got the right to represent India in Miss Universe 2012 pageant unfortunately she did not comply with the age requirement of 18 years as on 1 February in the year of competition the she was replaced by the 1st runner-Up Shilpa Singh.
